Bags, bags, bags!

Hi there! sorry for the lack of posts...I've been kinda busy (thnk God) with some designs for children's notebooks. What I've been up to:

• Watched "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" 
• Bought a new cardigan (pink one, will post later)
• Done some hair accesories (bows, scrunchies...)
• Cuddled A LOT with my BF (finally...he works so hard!)

Hi! Hope you guys had a wonderful weekend n__n. Mine was pretty quiet, I went with my BF to see "The orphan". I tough it was like a scary movie but thank god it wasn't (I hate scary movies...they make me so nervous). It was...ok I guess, I didn't like it very much, but there was nothing else to see.

I've been kinda broke lately T___T... that means no shopping for me. SO I guess I'll have to manage with the stuff I have to go trough the change of season...but If I could, I'd buy:

A black tulle skirt (like some sort of tutu but not that puffy)

T___T ... I'm so in love with those boots. I hope the work crisis comes to an end soon...

MMM... Fajitas!!!

HI everyone! today was so cold in here! I just wanted to stay in bed with my hello kitty blanket ¬_¬

Didn't do much, went grocery shopping with my mom and cleaned my bedroom. My job as a freelance has cons' and pros'...one pro' is that this month my clients have been kinda absent so... that's not good at all O_O...that means no money for goodies at all...Please, somebody hire me!!! lol

Anyways...about the title of this post here's the pic of today's meal

 

mmm...rib eye fajitas "Harumi style"

 They were sooo good...bell pepper, onion, beef of course....cheese...OMG...the cheese melting all over the tortilla...*drools*. This is one of my all time mexican faves.

Now, I couldn't upload yesterday's makeup, so here are the pics (sorry 'bout the sleepy eyes).

The stuff I used is listed on yesterdays post.

Hope you like it, I'm definitely not a makeup artist and I rarely wear makeup...'cause I don't know how to use it lol. Any comments, suggestions and / or tips are more than welcome!

Purple day!

That's right...purple. Today was a weird day. 9/9/09.The ninth day, of the ninth month of 2009. So, as I heard on t.v, today is supposed to be a "magic day"...Well, not so magical to me but...anyways...lol
I decided to wear purple on my outfit as on my makeup (still trying to take nice pics for a mini photo tutorial). All I can do for now is tell you what I used:
•Face: Maybelline Mineral Power Powder Foundation in Nude light / Maybelline Mineral Power Luminous Blush in True Peach.
•Eyes: MAC Prep+prime eye in light / Chanel Les 4 Ombres in 08 Vanités / MAC Liquidlast liner in Powerplum
•Lashes: shu uemura eyeleash curler / Maybelline Define-a-lash waterproof mascara
•Lips: Kiehl's lip gloss in Icy Everest

Last but not least, here are my little parrots: Wasabi (the green one) and Daikon (yellow one). They actually belong to my grandma, but she's spending some time at my uncle's and I'm taking care of them meanwhile. They are very cute and not anoying at all.

 

I hope I can take pics on my makeup for tomorrow, and start posting my vids soon...I'd love to make some fashion styling tuts in the future. Have a good night everyone!

Pretty little things that makes a girl happy

There's nothing like  new accesories to make my day! I've been into hair clips and hairbands lately, actually, I'm kinda developing my own brand of accesories and other stuff...surprise surprise! But It'll take a while...you'll see!
Meanwhile I'll show you what I bought this weekend. Well, two bought and two made by myself...

I've also been into this Morinaga candy it's sooooo good! you cna chew it...and chew it...and chew it...and the flavor won't go...My fave right now is tutti-frutti flavor. The packaging ain't that cute, but I don't really care!

I'm liking this whole blogging thing, but I'm not so sure if I'm doing it the right way lol, I guess I'll just have fun with it and We'll see what happens. I've been visiting several blogs to get some inspiration and tips, like the watermark on the photos displayed on my site...Please! feel free to comment, I need your feedback to know if I'm doing it ok...or so so...or bad...lol

Mini cream haul

Hi everyone! Today I wanna talk about this three products that I really can't live without: Bioré dual fusion, Bioré hard day's night and Neutrogena's hand cream.

First: Biore's products. I reaaaaaally like them. They run smoothly through your skin, have a nice smell and aren't greasy at all (which I love). Besides, they are easy to find at any drugstore and are not thaaaaat expensive.
I use Bioré's dual fusion as my daily moisturizer. It has SPF30, which is always a plus. (And the white/green combination's cute lol n__n)
For my night moisturizing I use Hard day's night, which...mmm...to be honest I haven't been wearing this one for too long, but I think it's pretty good. It leaves your skin feeling so fresh, and in the morning that feeling's still there!

Now, for my hands I totally love Neutrogena's hand cream. I know it's kinda greasy, but if applied correctly it's amazing! Even my BF keeps one on his drawer...tough he applies it not onto  his hands but on his face...like an aftershave...I dunno...hahahaha.
Anyways...I like to use it at night, and cover mi hands with some latex gloves. You wear them for 5 to 10 minutes and when you take them off your hands feel sooooo soft, even your nails feel moisturized.

I want you to meet my baby, her names is Shippo and she's almost 3 years old. My BF gave it to me on my birthday and she's the best present ever!
We spoiled her soooo much when she was a baby and now she's such a diva. She's not well behaved at all (actually, my mom thinks she's kinda evil lol). Shippo used to live indoors, but since she's grown too much We had to take her to the backyard, and now she has a special bunny cottage. I love her so much!

New nail polishes n_n!

Today was a busy day. I woke up early in the morning, sent some work mails, and had breakfast. After that I went to get my hair trimmed and aplied a treatment. (Now my hair is so soft and shiny!!! thnx L'oreal!)

On my way back home I saw this nail polishes at Sally Beauty and totally had to buy them. They are Black diamond and Fairie dust (both sooooooo pretty and shiny) I'm a big fan of dark nails, and waas planning to get a new black one, but this black diamond is just perfect...it's like a very dark-almost black tone.

Pretty pretty jewelery!

Last tuesday I received a package...My joyce jewellery had arrived!!! I ordered 2 necklaces, the bunny one and a golden eiffel tower that is soooo pretty. I'm not a big fan of online shopping, 'cause of  the risks involved with the payment and shipping, but I'm so glad I did it!

Yesterday I ate one of my moms' fave dishes of all time: "eggplant lasagna". Instead of layering pasta, she uses thin layers of baby eggplant. The rest of the ingredients are the same as a common lasagna. It's sooooo good and healthy! Oh! and I garnished it with some salad (lettuce, cucumber, avocado and onion)

 

mmm...so yummy! 

I also went to see "The time travelers wife"...I didn't like it that much...but I guess it's ok lol.

Hi! This is my first post ever! I'm kinda exited and nervous about my blog, since it's the first time I write my thoughts and experiences to an audience...lol. Besides, english ain't my language, I speak spanish so, it's harder for me to explain so you can understand (I hope you will n_n).
